Introducing ‘Common as Muck’ – the debut DIY poetry pamphlet by Rick McLean.

This is a collection of sharp, spoken-word poems about modern Britain, working class life, and the strange repetition of the everyday grind. Blending Yorkshire grit with dark humour, the poems move from pub conversations and Monday morning misery to bigger questions about society, identity and the state of the nation.

Produced as a DIY pamphlet, Common As Muck also features original 35mm photography shot by the author. The first edition was printed in London by Burley Fisher Books as a limited independent run.
